    Chris Carter (he/him)

    HYPERBARIC OXYGEN THERAPY MANAGER

    Carter oversees our Hyperbaric Oxygen Program and has a myriad of interests, ranging from healthcare and natural sciences to construction and artsy crafts. Formerly an LMT, Carter has returned to the world of healthcare to expand our hyperbaric oxygen treatment clinic into a national program.

    When not at the clinic, he enjoys a variety of hobbies that generally involve hand-crafting gifts for friends and attending local comedy shows.

    Dessa Bingley (she/her)

    FOUNDER/ EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

    Dessa is the Executed Director and founded TeamWorks (DBA TendWell) in 2005. She is a licensed acupuncturist practicing Traditional Chinese & Japanese Medicine in Portland, Oregon. She has a private clinical practice and specializes in pain relief, support during stressful times of transition, and support with grieving. Acupuncture is a complete system of medicine, helping the mind and body move through difficult times and is widely recognized for its effectiveness in promoting physical and emotional health. Dessa is board certified in Functional Hyperbaric Medicine

    Jessica Allen (she/her)

    OUTREACH + SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR

    Jessica Allen is an educator, advocate, and community-builder with over a decade of experience supporting marginalized youth and families. She has taught, trained, and designed trauma-informed, culturally responsive programs centered on lived experience and equity.

    As Outreach Coordinator and Social Media Manager at TeamWorks, she expands peer-delivered services through partnerships, creative campaigns, and accessible programming for LGBTQIA+, disabled, chronically ill, and BIPOC communities.

    Leeba Laviolette (she/they)

    RUMBLE COLLECTIVE PROGRAM DIRECTOR

    Leeba is the program director for TendWells community center, Rumble Collective. They are a queer, neurodivergent, and chronically ill Nursing student, with the goal of working in Palliative medicine. They are also a certified Recovery Peer Mentor, with a deep commitment to harm reduction and outreach. Above all else, they know that navigating healthcare is stressful and exhausting, and will do what they can to lighten that load for our client community.

    Mars Aqueous (they/them)

    STRATEGY + COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR

    Mars is a creative strategist, energy worker, and psychiatric survivor working at the intersections of story, spirit, and systems change. They guide strategy, fundraising, design and communications, ensuring programs are rooted in lived experience, collective care and community wisdom.

    With over a decade in culture-shifting activism and community education, Mars is focused on expanding peer-delivered services and seeding a future of care that is just, imaginative, and liberated from colonial frameworks.

    Nautilus Torello (he/they)

    TRAINING & PEER PROGRAM DIRECTOR

    Nautilus Torello (he/they) has over a decade of experience transforming peer-delivered services into practices of justice, liberation, and collective care. With deep roots in queer and neurodivergent communities, he has served as peer supporter, director, and consultant, centering mutuality and shared power.

    As a certified trainer in Intentional Peer Support (IPS) and Queer IPS, Nautilus challenges pathologizing frameworks and builds culture-shifting approaches rooted in solidarity and community care.

    Aubrey Kelly (she/her)

    BOARD MEMBER

    Aubrey is a licensed acupuncturist that offers an extensive set of acupuncture and bodywork skills outside of TendWell. Her healthcare journey began in 2008 and she started in private practice in 2013. She continues to hone her intuitive style utilizing the 8 extraordinary vessels and Japanese style acupuncture. Over the last 10 years, she has worked with the vagal circuitry, specifically for trauma recovery.

    Chris Doud (he/they)

    BOARD MEMBERS

    Chris Doud, LCSW is a practicing counselor in Portland, OR. They have been working in the behavioral health field since 2018 and are the owner of Dian's Well Counseling LLC, a Portland therapy practice that specializes in working with LGBTQ+ community. They are a nonvoting member of the Board and also works as the Program Director for TendWell.

    David Kracke, JD

    BOARD MEMBER

    David has been an Oregon attorney since 1990, with 28 years specializing in brain injury litigation and six years as Oregon’s Brain Injury Advocate Coordinator. He co-authored Max’s Law (2009), Jenna’s Law (2013), HB 4140 (2020), HB 4126 (2022), and SB 420 (2023). David has also authored or co-authored additional laws and ballot initiatives focused on brain injury, student support, zoonotic disease prevention, UIM, and environmental protection.

    Deidre Rundle (she/her)

    BOARD MEMBER

    Deirdre is a licensed professional counselor based in Portland, Oregon. She graduated from Portland State University’s masters in counseling program in 2017 and spent five years working for community mental health agencies before transitioning into private practice in 2022, with a focus on serving LGBTQ+ adults.

    Linsay Craten (she/her)

    BOARD MEMBER

    Linsay is a business professional with over 20 years of experience supporting and consulting with healthcare practitioners from both allopathic and naturopathic disciplines. She has partnered with medical providers on healthcare startups, from launch to merger and acquisition. Linsay has experienced first-hand the transformative impact of holistic and intentional medicine. She is deeply passionate about expanding access to these services and committed to advancing innovative healthcare solutions.
